A Jungle-Wrapped Bedroom for a Very Happy Eight-Year-Old

This bedroom makeover was designed for an eight-year-old girl who was very much ready for a grown-up upgrade, and the starting point was a jungle wallpaper mural that wraps the entire room in its own gentle adventure. Skirting boards and architraves were painted in a matching green rather than a stark, jarring white, while the cornice and ceiling were finished in a soft off-white tone lifted straight from the wallpaper itself. The effect ties every surface together far more gently than a standard white trim ever could, giving the whole room a calm, cohesive feel despite its playful theme. We used Coat Paints throughout, who mix each colour to order and responsibly take back any leftover paint rather than letting it go to waste. The result is a bedroom its young owner is completely in love with — and, quite honestly, so are we.
